I know the description could have been simpler. The description on the other hand could well have been loaded with a few more unnecessary and meaningless words. Writing is as difficult an act as rearing a child. You dont know how will the child respond to your efforts towards training her. you dont know what traits would come out of any particular training. you wanted her to behave in a certain way - may be quietly - and she turned out to be a shy, introvert lass. she could as well have been a tomboy and a bully if you trained her to dominate a conversation. and well she could have been anything else as a result of your training, something completely different from what you intended. Thats where the indication of life is evident in writing. you try to express something, however, what expresses out of words finally is something of its own. It has surely come out of your efforts but is also completely independent of the contents you offered it.
Some parents admit that they relive their childhood with their child. Reading what you write can give you a similar experience, particularly when an entrapment of self awareness is laid amidst those words. It frees you of your writing.
